Tommy’s Seafood, founded in 1982, is a gulf seafood processor located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The factory is approximately 30,000 square-feet and is divided into multiple workshops including but not limited to wild-caught head-on & head-off shrimp, live & cleaned frozen blue crab, oyster shell-stock & shucked oyster meat production and further processed foods such as crab cakes, shrimp cakes, entrees and sauces. Tommy’s can custom pack our products within your specification in your brand. Tommy’s also provides R&D services to assist you further at your customer level with our products.
Tommy pioneered his freezing process over 12 years ago by converting to CO2 freezing at -90° F, versus traditional freezing methods, which enables higher quality seafood. Tommy’s retail quality shrimp are frozen within minutes not hours sealing in optimum freshness, locking in peak flavor and maintaining excellent texture.
